RCAP Solutions is a comprehensive nonprofit community development organization that works with communities of all sizes providing planning, oversight and operational capabilities, infrastructure-building, and program development and implementation.

Established in 1969 (as Rural Housing Improvement), RCAP Solutions has been helping individuals, families, communities and small business owners with a wide range of housing and other beneficial services for almost a half a century. The Client Resources Division works with eligible individuals and families in Massachusetts to provide a wide range of affordable housing, homelessness prevention, workforce development, family unification and self-sufficiency services. The Community Resources Division supports the Northeastern United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to promote public, environmental and economic health by providing consulting, planning, financing, build-out oversight, regulatory and compliance oversight, management and operational support for a wide range of community development and infrastructure projects. The Real Estate Division oversees the operations of our residential rental properties as well as development activity, to its properties located in Central Massachusetts. The Company’s portfolio currently includes ten affordable housing projects with a total of 362 units. Our Financial Resources Division serves as an alternative lender, dedicated to making loans to homeowners and small businesses not eligible for loans through the traditional resources. Loans are made primarily in Central Massachusetts with funds received from governmental agencies to promote a variety of loan programs. RCAP Solutions Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) Program connects our affordable housing residents with the services and support necessary to enable them to remain living independently and safely in housing. The goal of the RSC staff is to create a safe, comfortable, informative and enjoyable environment for all residents. They are committed to empowering residents to build strong communities and to find creative solutions to any problems or issues. RSC team members conduct confidential one on one client assessments to identify appropriate community services or activities that enhance quality of life.
