This beautiful historic town is nestled in a bowl of spectacular mountains with fresh air and blue skies. As the capital of the Breede River Valley, it serves as the hub for commercial, distribution and retail activity. The beautiful old Victorian buildings are equipped with fine antiques with a modern touch; it’s surrounded by a tranquil garden with a salt water swimming pool. We are within walking distance from the hospitals, restaurants and shopping. We have 5 stylish en-suite bedrooms, non smoking, beds are fitted with pure percale white linen. All have private entrances and secure off street parking or electric garages. A continental & cooked breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. The loft is an open space, secluded from downstairs and separate bathroom. It has an extra bed for a child and spacious enough for a camping cot or an extra mattress, air-conditioned for hot summers and cold winters and four balconies with a view on the garden and mountains. The ground floor consists of the second en-suite bedroom. The little black and white tiled kitchen is equipped for your own cooking and washing needs. This one en-suite bedroom has a TV with dstv accommodation package and is air-conditioned. The separate lounge, dining and kitchen area are furnished with Cape Dutch antiques with a twist of modern times. No cleaning service available, unless arranged prior to your stay at an extra cost. Environment friendliness is prior when using water and electricity, thus please switch off the air-con when leaving your cottage and hang up towels to dry. The number of people is restricted to the number of beds per cottage. No other persons to reside at the property, other than those persons specified at the time of the booking. Guests are responsible for shutting all exterior doors and appropriate windows, and securing the accommodation when absent or sleeping, and for minimising fire risk in the property at all times. The property must be respected and looked after during any stay, and left in the same clean and tidy condition, with full inventory, as it was on arrival.
